Have you finished setting up your services and configuring your synchronisations with the OTAs? Have you decided to create your own website and install a booking widget supplied by us?
To get started, go to the Widgets tab on the left-hand side of your screen and click on the Add a widget button.
First, you'll be able to change the following parameters:
The name of the widget.
The default language of the widget.
The families of services you wish to display in the widget: you can decide to display only Click & Collect, gift cards or Concierge services. If the widget is dedicated to offering your accommodation and options, you should leave the "Display all" option.
If you have previously chosen the "Display all" option, this will allow you to display only certain services in particular (a single accommodation on a page of your website dedicated to this accommodation, for example).
The URL of the return page: we recommend that you insert the URL of the home page of your website.
Secondly, you can set the additional fields required to complete the creation of a booking (in other words, the information you must be provided with), including :
The address (example: 2 Rue Fabriqués d'en Nabot).
Postcode (example: 66000).
The town (e.g. Perpignan).
The first names and surnames of the other participants in the booking.
Please note that certain information is systematically collected:
The first name and surname of the main participant in the booking.
The email address.
Telephone number.
Thirdly, you can customise the text to be displayed next to the opt-in tick box (consent to receive your marketing campaigns by e-mail). This sentence will be displayed above the tick box for your general terms and conditions of sale in the booking engine.
Before moving on to the graphic customisation of the booking widget, you can add tags and scripts that will enable you to track your bookings, particularly with Google and Facebook.
Next comes the graphic customisation of the booking widget, which will vary according to the type of widget you select:
In full mode: to be placed mainly at the top of the home page of your website, as an immediate incentive to book.
In button-link mode: to be placed mainly in the fixed navigation bar at the top of your website, but also on the different pages that make up your website to make booking easier.
In calendar mode: to be placed mainly after the first presentation elements on the home page of your website and on the various pages that make up your website to make booking easier.
You can change the background colour of the widget, the colour of the text, the rounding of the corners, etc. If you're not familiar with some of the colours in the palette you usually use, you can use the Colorzilla extension (if you use Google Chrome), the Pipette tool (if you use Mozilla Firefox), or the ColorSlurp application (if you have a Mac and use Safari).
Once you've saved your changes, all you have to do is click on the Copy script button and embed it wherever you want on your website.
